REPORT FROM ROTARACT
The Rotaract Club has these activities in mind to carry out during the spring months:
We discussed the idea of having a "Princeton Rotaract Week" at the end of March. Some ideas for the week would be to have a table set up in Frist to collect items for the Academic Supplies Drive for the Caribbean, speakers invited to speak on various topics (careers, entrepreneurship, leadership, public speaking/service, etc.), and a studybreak for students on campus where they can meet Rotaract officers and members and learn about the club. This special week would help Rotaract to become more recognized by the student body.
At the culmination of the week, Rotaract would like to sponsor a variety show featuring student talents from the University at a local senior citizens home. This show will replace the previous idea of the senior citizens prom which has been very difficult for us to acquire funding to put on. However, this project will still help to bring the University student community together with the local senior citizens community.
